Celtix

Celtix
·         Firstly you open up the program
·         Then you open up the film and a blank page
·         There is a drop down menu that helps you chose what aspect of the page you are doing
·         For example slug line, action, character, dialog, scene heading, shot, translation,
·         You use the appropriate setting for what you are writing for example  use action if you are writing about what is happening in the scene and use scene heading if you are starting a new scene.
·         When you are finished the script u can print it out using the print button on the upper tool bar and it will automatically print in a type writer  font just like it appears on the screen.
Some useful tools are the lay out tools such as heading, character, dialog etc because they sort out where all the text is supposed to be and make the layout nicer and more professional.
Celtix is a very simple program to use and is pretty self explanatory and easy to navigate round
